Ceylon Essence & Beverage Co Ltd., was established in the year 1968, by the late Mr Simon Arthur Wickramasingha. Later, the late Mr. R Sarant of Sarant & Co of the United Kingdom joined hands with Mr. Wickramasingha and brought in machinery to produce natural vanilla in Sri Lanka and thereby became the first Sri Lankan Essence Company to be approved by the then government and the brand name of 'RASARCO' was born
Since then, Rasarco has continued its legacy by manufacturing many flavours and colours of quality to the expectation of its customers to date.
